Students are invited to participate in the election of SAA officers for the 2012-2013 school year. We need four officers: one Studio Art major, one Art History major, and two from either area. The ballot will be available beginning today (Monday, April 30) and ending Friday, May 5 at 5pm.

ARTS 104: Digital Approaches to Fine Arts hosted/performed/created the Shadow Walk.
We had a visiting clay artist, Brooke Noble, who gave a lecture on her work and demos all day long in the ceramics studio!

Jon McMillan’s ceramic sculpture is featured in the current issue (#87) of “Ceramics: Art and Perception,” an international, bi-monthly journal covering Ceramic Art and Theory. The article includes a half-page image of Jon’s work, and an brief analysis by author Judit Trunkos. The pieces in the article were part of an exhibition of The University of South Carolina’s ceramics program, where Jon was on the faculty last year.
